変わった野菜を買いました。

先週、農家の八百屋さんで野菜を買いました。
紫色のカリフラワーともう一つの野菜です。
みなさんは、紫色のカリフラワーを食べたことがありますか。

写真のもう一つの野菜は何だかわかりますか。

They are beets.
Although the outside is brown it’s bright purple inside.
They can be eaten boiled, roasted, or raw, and either alone or combined with any salad vegetable.

その野菜は
ビーツです。
表皮は茶色ですが、なかは濃い紫色です。
煮たり焼いたり、火を通さずでもオーケー。
それだけでも、ほかの野菜と一緒にでも食べるのでもいいですよ。
